Q - Are you insured? A - Yes Pawprints Dog Day Care is professionally insured with specialist animal trade insurers. Our insurance covers public liability, day care, custody and control.
Q - Are you licensed? A - Yes. We are fully approved and licensed by DEFRA for animal activity under the Animal Welfare Regulations for Dog Day Care and have a 5 star rating.
Q - What happens if my dog doesn’t get on with another dog? A - All dogs are screened to ensure that daycare is a suitable environment for them. Dogs are then grouped into small compatible play groups with dogs of a similar type being grouped together to ensure that each play group is happy, relaxed and content. We also have a specific group for older and nervous dogs.
Q - Will my dog be supervised at all times? A - Yes. The dogs are under constant supervision by our team of dog handlers.
Q - What happens when it rains or is too cold for my dog to be outside? A - We have heated snooze rooms where your dog has a choice of sofas and comfy dog beds to escape the weather. We also have all weather surface play areas and field shelters in the outside play areas. During inclement weather conditions we switch the focus of the days activities to cognitive exercises, working their noses and brains.
Q - I have a puppy or small dog, can they come to Day Care? A - Yes. The day care centre is the perfect environment for your puppy to grow and socialise. We accept puppies as soon as they have are fully vaccinated. Small and young dogs are always grouped together.
Q - Can my dog stay at the Day Care Centre overnight? A - No. Dogs cannot stay at the Day Care Centre overnight.
Q - Do you offer day care on the weekends and bank holidays? A - No. Pawprints Dog Day Care Centre operates from Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 18:30 Operating hours are strictly controlled by Tewkesbury council.
